6 foods to avoid if your uric acid is high


Uric acid, a natural waste rproduct that is formed when body breaks down purines, substances which are found in certain food such as lentils, spinach, and is also produced by our kidneys naturally. Now, normally uric acid dissolves in blood, passing through kidneys and is eliminated in urine but if your body has too much uric acid and your kidneys can’t remove it then, it causes a condition called hyperuricemia, which further leads to gout (form of arthritis) or kidney stones.
