Prince William suffers ‘great loss’ as he makes plans for monarchy’s future

Prince William’s future plans for monarchy highlight growing distance from Harry

Prince William is set to work on slimming down the monarchy once taking over the throne form his father King Charles, new reports have revealed.

However, his brother Prince Harry would have no role to perform as he would not be a part of the picture after the Prince of Wales ascends to the throne.

According to The Mirror, William may have to rely on his three children and younger cousins like Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Zara Tindall to help out with older royals likely to slow down by then.

Speaking to the publication, royal expert Jennie Bond said that it’s a sad situation for William, claiming he has suffered a “great loss” not having Harry by his side.

“I don’t think Harry figures in William’s plans at all,” she said. “It is a very sad situation because Harry was his wingman and would have been the brother he could rely on when he takes on the very heavy responsibility of being King.”

The expert continued, “Harry would have had an extremely senior role and been the sibling, friend, supporter and sounding board that the Princess Royal is now to her brother King Charles.”

“It is a great loss for William, but one which I think he has now accepted,” she claimed.

This comes amid reports that William will also not let Harry’s kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, become working royals after it was reported that the Duke wants the option open for his children so they could choose to become working royals in the future.
